Gather the details that describe your actual car

Before requesting an offer, note the model year, make, model, trim and current mileage. Check the details rather than relying on memory. Different trims and equipment can make two cars with the same model name quite different.

Write a short, factual description of condition. Include known warning lights, damage, modifications and repairs you can explain. Describing an issue early helps avoid a conversation based on the wrong vehicle condition.

  • Year, make, model, trim and approximate mileage.
  • City and ZIP code where the vehicle is located.
  • Known mechanical issues, visible damage and modifications.
  • Any current buyer quote and its conditions.

Take photos that answer questions

Use daylight and show the car as it is. Photograph the front, rear, both sides, cabin and dashboard. Add a close-up of damage you have disclosed. Avoid filters that hide paint or body condition.

Move personal belongings out of view. Check the background for paperwork, house numbers or other information you do not want to share. Photos should help someone understand the vehicle, not expose your personal records.

Keep sensitive documents out of the first inquiry

An initial request is not a reason to upload identification, title documents or banking details to a general form. Ask the purchasing buyer what they need, why they need it and how to provide it securely when the transaction reaches that stage.

Do not hand over a vehicle, keys or ownership documents simply because you received an online estimate. Confirm the buyer, final terms and payment process before agreeing to a handover.

You can start before everything is ready

Carblanche does not require photos or a VIN to begin. The first step asks for year, make, model and Orange County ZIP code. Mileage and condition details come next, followed by optional photos and contact details.

The team can discuss the remaining details during follow-up. The Orange County pilot accepts paid-off vehicles with a clean title that run and drive, with an asking price of $20,000 or less. Requests are subject to dealer interest and inspection.

Your next step

Compare available dealer options for an eligible Orange County vehicle. No seller commission during our pilot. No obligation to sell.
